Assistant Principal's Message

Hello and welcome to the 2025/2026 academic year at Paxinosa! This will be my 10th consecutive year in this community. In this role, I plan to support students, families and staff in order to facilitate the learning process. Being in the West Ward for the past 9 years has made this community my second home.

In order to promote educational success, communication is vital. I will make a concerted effort to return your request as soon as possible.

Paxinosa is a community school in which we support our students to be leaders of the future. We are a trauma-informed school in which we teach the whole child while building and fostering positive relationships for all stakeholders.

My Mission as the Assistant Principal at Paxinosa is:
As a school leader at Paxinosa, my mission is to build and foster positive relationships among the students, staff, and community. I will lead with courage and do what is best for students. It is my goal to always put students first and do what is best for students, no matter how difficult that may be. While providing discipline, my goal is to teach the “whole student” using a trauma-informed approach. I strive to be empathetic to the degree that I am able to listen, hear, and support while still maintaining a fair, firm, and consistent approach to all involved in order to facilitate and enhance the instructional environment.

I am looking forward to another successful academic year at Paxinosa Elementary School. Go Pumas!
